Hiking tour around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo

We start from Bolzano to the Val Pusteria and to Dobbiaco, from there to the Val di Landro. On the exit form Val di Rienza we take the public bus to the Rifugio Auronzo. After a coffee we beginning the hik under the sud side from the tree Towers till the Rifugio Lavaredo. From here we woke up to the forcella di Lavaredo (2454 m) and we hike slightly downwards along the foot of Monte Paterno until we reach a fork, from where we follow the signposts towards the Rifugio A. Locatelli. Here we have a nice lunch and  enjoy a breath taking view not only of the surrounding panorama but also of the 500 metres high north walls of the Tre Cime Mountains. After lunch we go down to the Val di Landro and along the river to the exit and to the car.
